President Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort and former campaign official Rick Gates have been indicted on 12 counts related to tax fraud, money laundering and the attempted interference in the 2016 presidential election by Russian interests. Manafort and Gates turned themselves into the FBI, pleading not guilty to the charges. All of this while news of a former campaign adviser, who is now cooperating with investigators, admitted to lying about his Russian contacts.
